Prerequisites

Users should have:

  • a broadband connection to the Internet
  • a basic understanding of a web browser
  • a basic understanding of your computer operating system 

How it works

For each online virtual class, you will be given a special website to go to and some connection information. This will download a small program to your computer that will allow you to not only see the presenter's screen, but for you to show your screen if you're trying to ask a specific question. You can use your computer speakers and Mic so you can hear the audio, and interact with the class and instructor, or call a conference call line (Long distance charges may apply). Classes are held to a maximum of 20 users so everyone gets a chance to speak.
