Default Raw processor for 5d MkII

I just purchased a 5d II and found that my camera raw processor wouldn't open the files, so I downloaded the newest camera raw (5.6) and found that it isn't compatible with CS3. Can someone tell me which version I need to be compatible with camera and CS3? Thanks, Rich

I believe if you're talking about Adobe's Camera Raw, then it only works in CS4.

however, your camera ships with Canon's DPP that will read the raw files.

Thanks

Another option if you do not like DPP... like myself...lol is

Lightroom 3 beta... http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom3/ free for now until the retail version is out.

I'm using it... and loving it.

Go to the Adobe web site and download the DNG (Digital Negative) converter for free. Convert your raw files to a DNG file and then open them up in any version of Adobe Raw that you have. If I understand it right, this is what Lightroom does
in the first place, it just has everything added that you need to work on your images. This is the cheapest way for you to use what you already have.
