Canon EOS D10 6megapixels
Any suggestions or feedback on this camera? Think I can get a sweet deal on it if it's any good.

the 10d was my first digital camera & was great at the time, but the 20d + 40d's have dropped enough in price that I would go with one of those instead.

I also agree. Go with a 20d or 40d. The mp is better and you will be able to pull off higher ISO's.

canon 20d for $300???? and is buying a camera off of craigslist a good idea?

That sounds about right for the 20d. The 40d is about 500-600 depending.
I would buy off craigslist but be careful where you meet and what you do. Have someone with you "just incase" and if your gut says scam just run away.

how about a NIKON D40 for $300? I think I like that deal, better.

I went ahead and got the Nikon D40...Pretty sweet, but I have soooo much to learn!!
