What inspires me? A beautiful sunrise. No matter how many I see, I always want to photograph each one.

Friends and Family are my inspiration. Learning photography has been a rough road. There are many times that I have been down-hearted and thought to myself that I just do not have what it takes to be a good photographer. The main reason I keep going and keep learning and keep shooting is the encouragement of my friends and family. Here is a photo of my friends children.

Default My true inspriation.....

Children inspire me. When a family walks into my studio with a child, that child is practically all I see. I am constantly amazed at how they act at different ages. I don't have any children of my own, but I consider all my clients' and their children like family. We have so much fun together and I learn more and more with every session the magic and wonder that are the children of the world. Children are above such petty things like a "bad side" or "fat rolls". They openly display their personalities without a second thought. When given the right circumstances, that child blossoms right in front of my lens and I am witnessing the truest inspiration of my life.

Funny enough, the one thing that inspires me the most to keep going is the work I do with the charities I'm involved in. The people that I meet and the things I see every day touch my heart in ways that are simply unimaginable unless you have experienced it yourself.

Although I do have a few hospital images that were re-released to me for promotional purposes (the fetal hope foundation, etc.) I think this one will sum it up nicely.

This was at the fetal hope walk, when I was honored to walk for a baby I had the privilege of meeting through NILMDTS

Cold crisp air, first crack of dawn, and the hint of a glow on the horizon are what gets me out of the sleeping bag. Followed by excitement and wonder at what happens as the world lights up.

Default Inspiration comes from many places

My inspiration comes from self gratification. At the end of the day if I know that I produced something beautiful not just for my client but for me I am inspired to do it again and again. I take pictures for me.... and i love what i do!
