How it works
Unlike a Webinar Presentation that you sit back and watch, this is a true
interactive classroom where you interact one-on-one with the instructor. Lessons
are approximately 2 1/2 hours long, and run one evening a week over a 6 week
period.
You will be given a special website to go to and some connection
information. This will download a small program to your computer that
will allow you to not only see the presenter's screen, but for you to
show your screen if you're trying to ask a specific question. You dial a
conference call line so you can hear the audio, and interact with the
class and instructor. Classes are held to a maximum of10 users so everyone gets a chance to speak.
Classrooms generally are a combination of some instructor
presentation of the material, followed by real-time exercises that you
will be given to do. You'll also be sent some instructional material to
keep for reference, as well as sample files to do with the exercises.
This may be the ultimate online learning experience you've ever had.
